We feel that no matter what offroading book you read the content is never as up to date as you would like. If you've ever followed a Topo map, looking for some seemingly awesome trail marked as 4x4 that ended up not existing anymore... you know what we mean. Weather, local regulations, new additions, etc can change a normal dirt road one month into a heavily rutted, non-stock-capable obstacle course the next.
